SuperMale is the only variety certified 80 to 85% male. Reduces seeds and volunteers to a minimum. The SuperMale yields two to five times more spears than other varieties! When it’s from Miller, it’s sure to be SuperMale.

SuperMale Asparagus resists rust, root/crown rot, and fusarium. It lives almost forever. It is early, extremely vigorous, and produces tender green spears 3/4 inch and larger in diameter.

Succulent spears of Rutgers-developed and patented SuperMale (Jersey Knight) grow in such abundance they out-produce other varieties as much as 248% to 500%! That’s a five-fold increase.
