Fit for a King

A gourmet type of berry served in fine restaurants for satisfying desserts. Fruits are large and so sweet they’re delicious without sugar. That means this is ideal for pies and jams. Fully winter hardy. Has “multiple” insect resistance including immunity to “raspberry aphid,” (Geneva Exp. Sta.). Late season bearing, avoids spring frost damage.

Zones 4-8

Plant them 3 feet from each other in one row. To plant in rows, keep rows 6 feet apart. Black and red raspberries can be planted in the same row or bed.

To Grow Virus Free Berries Doubles Our Cost, but it’s more than worth it.

No More Crumbly Berries and Worthless Crops
Many people had just about given up on raspberries. Their plants looked fine, but the berries – if any – were crumbly, pitiful little things. Cause: virus disease.

We’re downright proud we pioneered with virus-free raspberries. Results have been beyond anything we hoped for. People have been astounded to see such vigorous plants produce large, luscious berries the very first fall on our everbearing varieities!

How do we produce virus-free berries? It’s not cheap. And not easy. The mother stock has to be grown in insect-proof screenhouses. No living plant can be closer than 1.4 mile from the new plants. Maintaining virus-free conditions requires regular testing. It’s timeconsuming, painstaking work.

But order Miller’s virus free grown plants and when you taste your mouth-watering fruit you’ll say the work is worth every penny.
