Be among the first to taste the delicious fruit some people call the “Michigan banana.” The All-American PawPaw has a creamy texture that is exquisite on the tongue, and the flavor is like eating sweet banana custard. Truly an amazing find of a “lost” fruit which you’ll never find in stores – just too delicate. One oval fruit of the American PawPaw can weigh a half pound, even more. Pyramidal shaped tree can be kept almost any height by pruning. The All-American PawPaw has large dark green leaves that grow to a foot long. Tolerates poor soils. Virtually pest-free. Hardy to 20° below zero. Very high protein (5%), vitamins A and C. Plant 15 ft. apart. Shipped in pots, spring only. Zones 4-8
