For many years there has been a growing need for a new and better fast growing shade tree. SHADEMASTER was selected as the best from over 20,000 seedlings tested. It has a straight, strong trunk. Requires no staking. The Shademaster Locust has graceful upright branches. Heavy, lacy, dark green foliage that holds until late in the fall. No raking leaves. They are small and just disintegrate. The roots on the Shademaster grow deep and will not heave walks. Grass grows well under the tree right up to the trunk. Transplants easily and most drought resistant.
