We ship every day except Sunday using specially prepared
moisture-retaining packaging materials to make sure you receive the
freshest, highest quality planting stock. By special arrangements with all
delivery systems, your order will go directly from our packing stations into
a waiting truck.
Please give us
your telephone number so we can reach you if a question arises, or we need
to coordinate prompt delivery.
You may receive
more than one shipment. Non-nursery items are usually sent upon receipt of
order. For spring planting, nursery plants are shipped at the best time for
planting usually mid-March to May 31. Weather conditions, in our area and
yours may affect shipping time. Fall planting shipments usually begin
October 20 and go through the end of November. If fall orders include any
plants not suited for fall planting we automatically schedule them for
delivery next spring at no change in price.

We
guarantee our Canandaigua Quality™ stock will reach you vigorous, ready to
grow.
Even
though the hardiest stock may be lost due to incorrect planting or
improper care, we will replace, credit, or refund (at our discretion) the
purchase price of planting stock on the following terms: Return your Order
Acknowledgement, Packing List or other proof of purchase within one year
accompanied by $3.25 to assist with packing/handling of the replacement
order. We regret only one claim for replacement or credit per plant can be
honored. In the unlikely event replacement stock is not available, we will
issue you a credit or refund.
If
you are not fully satisfied with any gardening accessory (non-growing
material), return it unused within 30 days for replacement, credit or
refund of the purchase price. Only the manufacturer's warranty (if any)
will apply to any accessory kept beyond Miller's 30-day return period.

About Our Nursery

At no charge to
you, we partially pre-prune our planting stock to bring roots and branches
into correct balance. Some plants may need additional pruning as directed in
your planting guide. Example: Cherries should be pruned aggressively
AFTER they are replanted in your soil.
Please keep in
mind that our nursery stock is shipped in a dormant condition. It is not
unusual for stock planted in spring to show no signs of life for 3 to 5
weeks. Fall planted stock will, of course, not show signs of life until the
following spring.
