Bradford Pear
OT109 - 3 - 4'
|
Ornamental Smog Fighter
Probably the shapeliest, showiest shade tree
grown. Will reach 25-30 feet high. Spring
flowers are like clusters of whipped cream
topping its shiny green foliage. Autumn is
show time when the leaves turn the tree into
a crimson tower. So hardy and disease
resistant, it does well even next to crowded
city streets. Bears no fruit. Zones 4-8
Bradford Pear is sold out for fall shipment.
Orders placed at this time for this item
will be backordered and shipped in Spring,
2013. |

Malus Almey Flowering Crab
OT108 - 3 - 5'
|
| |
Glistening fiery crimson blossoms as large
as silver dollars cover the branches to the
tips. One of the most beautiful flowering
trees anywhere! After the spring show,
autumn brings another spectacle of beauty.
The leaves fall to reveal small scarlet
fruits clinging to the branches for a
highlight of color carried into winter. Very
early blooming habits. Our trees start
blooming in the nursery row, so you can look
for blossoms the year after you plant them.
Grows 12-15 ft. high, even in poor soil.
Very hardy, beautiful trees anywhere you
want a show of brilliant color. |

Magnolia Soulangiana
OT118 - 2 - 3'
|

The hardiest of all magnolias does extremely
well here in Canandaigua. One of the first
trees to bloom in the spring. A
breath-taking sight in any yard. The tree is
covered with blossoms 6 inches across, pink
on the outside, snow white on the inside.
Plant a magnolia this spring, often they
bloom the same year planted. Ultimate height
12 to 15 ft.

Cherokee Chief Red Flowering Dogwood
OT111 - 3 - 4'
|
|
Once in a great while, the wonderful
workings of nature produce a truly
outstanding plant possessing the good traits
of its parents and further endowed with
beauty and merit far beyond that of its
predecessors. Such a plant is “Cherokee
Chief.” Colorful blooms appear before leaves
in spring, luxuriant green foliage all
summer turning bright scarlet in fall,
bright red berries in fall and early winter,
plus an interesting branching habit makes
the flowering dogwood one of America’s most
handsome trees with a special interest for
every season of the year. Blooms a beautiful
deep red |

American Elm

|
Resists Disease, Cold, Insects

out. Now the American Elm has been 'reborn!'
Our variety shrugs off deadly Dutch Elm
disease, insects too. Easy to grow into
upright, classic vase shape. Tolerates poor
soil and urban stress. If you love elms,
it’s worth every penny. 4 to 5 feet fully
rooted, vigorous trees. |
