Honeycrisp Apple Tree Just as the name says, honey sweet (with a hint of tart) and exceptionally crisp! Honeycrisp is the most requested apple variety we have had in a long time! Spotted red over a yellow background with juicy, crisp cream colored flesh. Excellent for fresh eating and salads, good for baking. Excellent keeper. Honeycrisp is a good choice for the home gardener or commercial growers. A mid season apple ripening from mid September to mid October depending on the growing location. A cross of Macoun and Honeygold produced by the University of Minnesota. (Patent #7197) Available Spring Only. Zones 4-8.
