4 Antique Varieties
• Golden Russet
• Snow (Fameuse)
• Summer Rambo
• Roxbury Russet

The advantages of these two trees are hard to exaggerate. They need no other tree for cross-pollination. If a late frost nips some early buds, later blooming varieties will still give you abundant harvests. Think of it as built-in crop insurance. These trees also give you extended fresh-fruit seasons, since some varieties bear earlier than others. McIntosh, for example, ripens long before the great Spy, which can ripen well into November.

We'd love to show a photo of these trees in bloom. With branches blanketed with white, or white-pink blooms, they are a show-piece! These are semi-dwarfed hybrids, so you can pick the largest part of each year's crop standing on the ground -- no ladder needed. They bear sooner and more reliably than standard trees due to the varieties on each root stock. Yet they can be planted comfortably 15 feet apart.

With four separate grafts placed by hand on every rootstock, you can see why they take four times the wood and four times the work of regular grafts. But you will find them worth every cent of the extra work and cost. Think of each tree as four different apple trees fruiting on just one single tree! For anyone with limited space, that makes them a real bargain! Shipped spring only.
